We reckon this is the best all-round headtorch for hill and mountain use. It was bright enough for night navigation, bright enough to see the rope ends on full pitch ab's and duration was excellent. The new 2008 version is even better, it runs longer and is 200% brighter! SPEC: Weight without batteries: 100g Weight with batteries: 175g Max output: 85 Lumens continuous, 150 Lumens on boost Batteries: 3 x AA Alkaline or NiMh DURATION / OUTPUT: (tested by Petzl @ 20°C) T=0h means "zero hours", fresh batteries right at the start. T=0h30 means "after 30 minutes use" T=10h means "after 10 hours use" etc....
